SEB Pension has sold a portfolio of approx. 340 commonhold units in four properties north of Copenhagen to a company owned by Core Property Management P/S. It is the largest sale in SEB Pension's history.
The portfolio consists of Vejlesøparken in Holte, Bavnehøj Park in Værløse, Byporten in Hørsholm and Elmely in Farum. The portfolio has a total area of approx. 33,000 m2 + basements.
SEB Pension has constructed the relevant residential properties back in the 1970s and 1980s.
The divestment is part of the overall property strategy in which SEB Ejendomme, in future, will invest in new, energy- and cost-efficient properties – business as well as residential units – provided that an attractive, risk-adjusted return can be achieved.
The buyer is Core Property Management, which manages a number of property funds with 13,000 leases and a balance sheet of a little more than DKK 18bn. Core Property Management focuses on residential properties in major cities in Denmark, Germany and Poland.
