Accura has advised PFA, one of Denmark's largest pension funds, in connection with the PFA-led consortium of Danish pension funds' acquisition of 16.9% of the shares in one of Denmark's leading financial services groups Nykredit from the main shareholder Forenet Kredit and from Industriens Fond and Foreningen Østifterne at a total price of DKK 11.6 billion.
The deal represents the largest acquisition ever of unlisted shares by institutional investors in Denmark.
The transaction is conditional upon certain public approvals as well as approval by the board of representatives of Forenet Kredit.
