Arne Riis heads Accura's Direct & Indirect Tax Team.
Arne has a broad corporate tax law background and represents Danish and international banks, private equity and venture funds, real estate investment funds, pension and life insurance companies and listed companies in tax matters.
Arne advises on e.g. tax matters, both nationally and internationally, relating to business transfers and reorganisation, including with respect to taxes in connection with organisation and (re-)financing, use of financial products, pension and life insurance products and on incentive structures for the management and key employees.
Moreover, Arne has an extensive international network of tax lawyers and other tax advisors, and he frequently publishes articles on tax law matters.
Arne is a member of the Tax Panel under the Confederation of Danish Industry, he is on the Tax Treaties Editorial Board under BNA International, and he is also a member of the Tax Committee of the Danish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (DVCA).
Furthermore, Arne is a regular speaker on tax law matters at private businesses and in connection with trade associations for taxation in Denmark and abroad.
Arne joined Accura as a partner in 2015. Before this, he was a tax partner with Bech-Bruun for a number of years.
Arne graduated in law from the University of Aarhus in 2000 and was admitted to the Danish bar in 2003.
