Dan Ermose is part of Accura's IPR and IT & Outsourcing Teams.
Dan has a broad international legal background with expertise in life sciences and IT and technology law. He has vast experience with the drafting and negotiation of complex proprietary agreements, including R&D agreements, technology transfer agreements and licence agreements.
Dan has thorough knowledge of and practical experience with the life sciences industry, including the special regulatory matters and industry-specific codes of ethics. He advises a high number of international manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food and feed in respect of contractual and regulatory aspects relating to the development, production and marketing of products in Denmark.
Moreover, he advises businesses both within the life sciences industry and other industries concerning IT and technology law issues, including system acquisition agreements and licence agreements, IT security and personal data protection. Dan is a certified IT attorney and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E).
Before joining Accura in 2009, Dan was head of the legal department of the biotech company Genmab A/S from 2006 to 2009. From 1999 to 2006, he worked as an assistant attorney and later as an attorney at Bruun & Hjejle law firm, specialising in general commercial law. Dan graduated in law from the University of Aarhus in 1999 and studied one semester at the Université de Poitiers in France. In 2005, he also obtained an LL.M. in commercial law from the University of Cambridge.
Dan taught EU law at the University of Copenhagen from 2002 to 2003. Since 2011, he has also taught at the Medico consultant programme.
