Background

Henrik Groos is one of the partners heading Accura’s Real Estate Team . His track record includes some of the largest real estate transactions in Denmark in which he has acted as sole advisor to large national and international professional clients, such as pension funds, commercial property investors and hotel owners and operators. These transactions have made him well-known for his very strong sense of urgency.

Henrik has vast expertise in heading transactions concerning the sale and acquisition of commercial properties and property companies, including hotels, and the structuring of property funds. He has a track record which is second to none. Eight times Henrik advised on the largest real estate transaction of the year.

Henrik was appointed “Real Estate Lawyer of the year” in 2008 and 2012 and has a first tier ranking in all major legal guides. Furthermore, he is highly experienced in the fields of construction law and dispute resolution, including national and international arbitration.

Henrik joined Accura as a partner in 2000.

He graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 1989, and subsequently, he studied law at the Freie Universität Berlin in Germany. Henrik was admitted to the Danish bar in 1993. He was admitted to practise law before the High Courts in 1993 and before the Danish Supreme Court in 2000.

Henrik is a frequent speaker on real estate conferences, including conferences organised by the International Bar Association and the International Chamber of Commerce.

Henrik is a co-author of Commercial Property – Jurisdictional comparisons – 2010 published by the European Lawyer and a co-author of The International Comparative Legal Guide to Real Estate 2007 and 2008 published by ICLG.
