Background

Morten Bruus heads Accura's IPR Team.

Morten specialises in intellectual property rights and mainly provides advice and conducts litigation in this area and in life sciences, including patent law and advice to technology-heavy businesses.

Morten has substantial experience of all types of litigation, including litigation over patents, search orders, prohibitory injunctions and product imitations. Many of Morten's clients are based abroad.

Morten joined Accura as a partner in 2017. Since 2007, he has been a partner in various law firms in Copenhagen. He graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 2000.

He was admitted to the Danish bar in 2003 and to practise law before the Danish High Courts in 2008.

Teaching and publications

Morten Bruus has taught courses on advertising of pharmaceutical products at the Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry ("Lif") for several years.

He is the author of sections concerning the Danish interim prohibitory and mandatory injunction rules for GRUR.

He is also the author of the Danish chapter in "The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Patents 2016" published by Global Legal Group Ltd in London.

Morten is the co-author of an article concerning the Danish interim prohibitory injunction rules for the German Anwalt Zertifikat Online.
