Charlotte Fornø works as an attorney with Accura's EU & Competition Team.
Charlotte advises on competition law matters e.g. with respect to prices and discounts, distribution systems, trade relations and compliance programmes. She also advises in connection with business transfers, including the drafting of applications for registrations of mergers. Moreover, Charlotte advises both public and private clients on state aid, e.g. in connection with conclusion of contracts between public authorities and private actors.
Charlotte has experience of representing businesses in relation to the relevant public authorities both in Denmark and in the EU, and she has represented clients in proceedings before the Danish courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Charlotte joined Accura in 2018 after having worked with Bech-Bruun. Before that, she worked for 3 years with the EFTA Surveillance Authority in Brussels where, for example, she worked as a hearing officer in competition proceedings.
Charlotte obtained a master droit from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris in 2007. She graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 2010 and was admitted to the Danish bar in 2013.
Charlotte has taught EU law and EU proceedings in practice at the University of Copenhagen.
Previously, Charlotte worked as a Danish country correspondent for the journal European State Aid Law Quarterly.
