Mads Berg is a partner, attorney and MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law in Accura's Real Estate Team.

Mads is highly experienced in M&A transactions within real estate (purchase as well as sales authority), property development projects, lease of real property, legal due diligence along with structuring of property funds and private equity funds.

Mads advises a wide range of customers, including Danish and international property funds and private equity funds, pension funds and developers.

In addition, Mads is engaged in company law issues, including in particular Danish limited partnerships (kommanditselskaber), and he has also published a number of articles on this subject.

From December 2013 until March 2014, Mads was posted with the Nordic private equity fund NREP A/S in Virum, where he worked with the transaction team of NREP A/S. From September 2014 until August 2015, Mads was posted with the pan-European private equity fund and asset manager M7 Real Estate Ltd. in London, where Mads was a part of the Investment Management Team of M7, and he participated in a number of property transactions, takeover and delisting of a listed property fund, setup of several new fund structures as well as acquisition financing and refinancing.

Mads started working for Accura in 2011 in Accura's M&A Team. Mads graduated as a MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law from the University of Aalborg in 2010, and he graduated in law from the University of Aalborg in 2011. Before Mads joined Accura, he worked with Hovmøller & Thorup Advokatfirma in Aalborg.

Mads has taught company law at the Department of Law at the University of Aalborg in 2011.
